The EyeCon VR/AR Lab project held its first major training event today — a full-day online Unity VR Workshop with 21 participants from LMU Munich and Çanakkale partners.

Hands-On Learning#
Led by Dr. Erwan David, participants progressed from Unity basics to building their own interactive VR environments. The intensive 7-hour program covered:
- Unity interface and project setup
- C# scripting fundamentals
- Resource loading and data logging
- VR interaction with XR Toolkit
- Coroutines for experimental trial sequences
Capstone Project: Cube Factory#
The workshop concluded with a collaborative capstone project where participants built an interactive VR “Cube Factory” — combining geometry, controller input, timed object generation, and audio feedback.
What’s Next#
The project continues with an on-site visit to Çanakkale (April 6–10) to set up VR and EEG equipment and run pilot experiments. Further research training sessions are planned for Munich later in the year.
